Round Lake Beach hosts upcoming debates

The Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, 2007 N. Civic Center Way, will host candidate debates Sunday, Oct. 23 and Tuesday, Oct. 25.

The Oct. 23 event is at 2 p.m. and will feature candidates running for Lake County recorder of deeds, circuit court clerk, state's attorney, coroner and county board District 16.

The Oct. 25 event us at 5:30 p.m. and will feature candidates running for the 10th U.S. House seat, 31st state Senate district and 62nd state House district. Spanish language translation services will be provided.

The event is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Lake County and the Round Lake Area Public Library.
