Police: 1 killed, 4 hurt in shooting on Chicago's South Side
CHICAGO (AP) - Chicago police say a man was killed and four other people were wounded, including a 13-year-old boy, in a shooting on the city's South Side.
The shooting happened Monday night in the West Englewood neighborhood as the group was standing in the front yard of a home. Police say another group walked up and started shooting, then ran away. No one was immediately taken into custody.
Police say a man in his 20s was shot in the head and died at the scene. The 13-year-old was last listed in critical but stable condition with gunshot wounds the right thigh. Three men in their 20s and 30s also were wounded and taken to hospitals for treatment.
