Learn about local services at Dist. 211 Halloween event

Members of the Palatine-Schaumburg High School District 211 community are invited to a Halloween-themed event that not only allows children to trick-or-treat, but also provides valuable information about community resources.

The Halloween Trunk or Treat event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at the Higgins Education Center, 1030 W. Higgins Road in Hoffman Estates.

The free event is an opportunity to learn about the programs and services offered through District 211. Individuals and families can tour the building as well as gain information about the social agencies in the area. In addition, the agencies will be passing out candy and other treats to children in Halloween costumes.
