Donate blood Oct. 12 at Aurora University

Aurora University School of Nursing students will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Dunham Hall lobby, 1400 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. The public is invited. A photo identification is required.

"Give a pint, get a pint" is the theme. Each donor will receive a certificate for a pint of Baskins Robbins ice cream.

The drive is sponsored by the AU Student Nurse Association in partnership with Heartland Blood Centers.

"Please eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of fluids before donating," Julie Garcia, drive coordinator.
