Grain higher, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was 2.50 cents higher at $3.9820 a bushel; December corn was 2.50 cents higher at $3.4320 bushel; December oats was .5.50 cents higher at $1.9340 a bushel while November soybeans gained 11.25 cents to $9.6960 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .35 cent lower at $1.0208 a pound; October feeder cattle was .03 cent higher at $1.2785 pound; October lean hogs gained .80 cent to $.5118 a pound.
