Special details make 108 arrests

Results from this year's special traffic safety campaigns have been announced by the Lake County sheriff's office. The special details concluded with additional enforcement targeted at drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs every weekend in September. Officials said the extra enforcement resulted in 55 DUI arrests, 42 non-traffic arrests, and 11 warrant arrests. There also were 795 seat belt citations and 351 speeding tickets.
