Antioch rail crossing will be closed starting Oct. 10

Drivers going through a section of Antioch will need to use an alternative route due to railroad crossing work scheduled to start Monday, Oct. 10. Lake County Division of Transportation officials said the Canadian National Railway will close the crossing at Route 173 east Route 83. The crossing is expected to reopen Monday, Oct. 17. Officials suggest drivers use an alternate path of Deep Lake Road to Grass Lake Road to Route 83.
