Prince of Peace's Pizzazz Gala Offers Donation Opportunities to Local Businesses
Lake Villa, IL - October 4, 2016 - Prince of Peace Catholic School, a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon school, announces that it is opening fundraising opportunities to community businesses for the school's annual Pizzazz auction. The Pizzazz dinner dance and auction will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Maravela's Banquet Hall in Fox Lake.
Local businesses now have the opportunity to reach more than 200 gala attendees and 2,000 members of the parish by contributing items and/or experiences as well as cash donations. Donating to the Prince of Peace auction is a wonderful way to promote your business and to be involved in the community. Not only will your donation (item, experience or monetary) help bring funds to the children, your business will receive recognition as an important supporter of vital Prince of Peace programs, resulting in a win-win situation. "We are committed to sharing the news of your partnership with the Prince of Peace community through our auction program, school website, parish bulletin, e-news and other communications," added Lauren Risley, Chair of The Great Gatsby Gala.
Students are energized to learn and ready to take advantage of their Catholic Education. As a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, Prince of Peace School has enthusiastic teachers, great classroom atmosphere and lots of school spirit! The school's goal is to prepare its children to be creative problem solvers and critical thinkers. We are educating future leaders who will make a difference. With the help of local businesses, we continue to offer our students an excellent academic program based on a faith foundation. We are very proud of our students, and we know we must continue our fundraising efforts in order to support this tradition of excellence.

We are happy to arrange for a pickup at your business, and donation checks should be made out to Prince of Peace School. Additionally, if your business is interested in attending the Great Gatsby Gala and would like to sponsor a table, a $700 donation entitles eight co-workers to enjoy an open bar, a buffet dinner, silent/live auctions, great music and dancing, and an abundance of camaraderie, along with a $100 donation to the school.
"Our 2016 Pizzazz Great Gatsby Gala is shaping up to be a spectacular event. We have a Roaring Twenties theme and we hope to provide a fun time for everyone who comes out to support our school," said Risley. "Our 3rd through 8th grade children have a lot of energy and we are trying to purchase new fitness equipment for them. We rely on - and sincerely appreciate - the generous donations of local business for both our silent/live auctions, and that kind of community support is what helps us keep our school strong."
