Dispose of Unused, Expired Prescriptions, October 22 at Police Station

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Arlington Heights Police Department will coordinate efforts to remove potentially dangerous drugs from homes at Prescription Take-Back Initiative held Saturday, October 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Arlington Heights Police Department, 200 E. Sigwalt Road.

This event provides a great opportunity for the public to surrender unwanted, expired and unused pharmaceuticals, as well as unwanted over-the-counter medication, to law enforcement officers for safe and proper disposal.

The service is free and anonymous. Tablets, capsules and all other solid dosage forms will be accepted. Intravenous solutions, injectables and syringes will not be accepted.
