Chorus seeks male singers for holiday concert

Men of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to participate in the Chorus of DuPage Holiday Concert.

The Chorus of DuPage is a men's barbershop chorus that has been performing in and around DuPage County for more than 50 years.

The chorus invites singers to participate in weekly rehearsals and several performances. The group will perform traditional secular and religious holiday selections arranged in men's four-part harmony. No experience is necessary. However, experienced singers also may enjoy this informal musical activity.

There's no obligation to join the chorus and no cost to be part of the show. Learning materials and clothing accessories will be provided.

The holiday concerts will be performed at select venues throughout the DuPage County area including a holiday concert at the Trinity Center in Lisle on Sunday, Dec. 4. The chorus already has several other holiday concerts booked in November and December.

Rehearsals will be at 7:15 p.m. Tuesdays in October and November at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 815 S. Washington St., just south of Edward Hospital in Naperville. Interested men should contact Bruce Rhoades at (708) 243-0749 or Bruce@rbihomes.com.
