Don't need Dem ward bosses in DuPage

One of the reasons I moved to Lombard was to escape the grasp of Cook County Democratic politics. Now I learn my State Senator Tom Cullerton, D-23, is supported by the Cook County Democratic ward bosses.

On Aug. 27, 17 workers from the 47th Ward City of Chicago Democratic organization, which is the home ward of Senate President John Cullerton, a relative of Tom Cullerton, rang doorbells for Tom Cullerton in DuPage County.

On Sept. 10, workers from the Evanston Democratic Party came to DuPage county to canvas for Tom Cullerton. How can Tom Cullerton represent the interests of DuPage County voters when he is beholden to the Democratic Ward bosses of Cook County?

I am voting for Seth Lewis for State Senate in District 23. Seth is a long time resident of DuPage County, a college graduate and independent thinker and small businessman who will stand up for the residents of DuPage County in the Illinois General Assembly.
