Arkansas' Skipper named SEC special teams player of week

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas' Dan Skipper has been named the Southeastern Conference's special teams co-player of the week. It's the second time this season that the offensive lineman has received a weekly award from the league.

Skipper was recognized Monday for blocking a field goal in the fourth quarter in No. 16 Arkansas' win over Alcorn State on Saturday. Earlier in the season, Skipper was named offensive lineman of the week.

Skipper has seven career blocked field goals - which is two shy of the NCAA record set by SMU's Magnus Hunt.

The Razorbacks face top-ranked Alabama in Fayetteville on Saturday.
