Palatine Public Library District Board will have five open seats

The Palatine Public Library District Board will have five open seats in the April 2017 election and there is plenty of time to run for one of the positions.

Candidates for the positions, each of which has a four-year term, need to circulate their nomination petitions and turn them in to the library from Dec. 12 to Dec. 19. Those interested can find the paperwork at the library or on the Cook County Clerk's website.

Candidates must live in the district's service area.
