Chief judge guest at fireside chat

The Honorable Jorge Ortiz, chief judge of the 19th Judicial Circuit in Lake County, will be the guest at the next Fireside Chat program at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28. Mayor Richard Hill hosts the monthly chats to bring county and state government closer to local residents. A meet and greet is at 6 p.m. followed by an informal conversation between Hill, moderators and the guest from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. A question-and-answer session concludes the program.
