Female leadership academy at Dist. 73

Hawthorn Elementary District 73 is seeking mentors to join its female leadership academy and mentor girls in grades 4 through 8. To kick off this new program, District 73 is inviting women who serve in leadership roles to attend a planning meeting at noon Thursday, Oct. 6 in the district office, 841 West End Court, Vernon Hills. The leadership academy is a part of the district's volunteer program, FACES (Family and Community Engagement for Students).
