Night life events: Hofbrauhaus keeps the Oktoberfest party going

Hofbrauhaus' Oktoberfest

Hofbrauhaus celebrates Oktoberfest with an entire month of specials. Now through Oct. 23, the party includes live music nightly and daily food and drink specials. Oktoberfestbier is back on tap and brewed on-site. Every Friday and Saturday, get in on the Masskrugstemmen, a traditional stein-holding competition. Snuggery's cowgirls and cocktails

Snuggery Schaumburg goes country Friday, Sept. 24, with an evening of cowgirls and cocktails. The night includes free mechanical bull rides and a DJ playing country hits and party songs. Specialty drinks include $5 Country Thunder Punch, $3 Miller Lite 20-ounce drafts, and $5 shots of Jager, Jameson, Patron and Rumchata. Specials every Saturday include: $5 Absolut Bloody Marys, $5 Sub Zero Jager shots and $5 Tiramisu shots. Bandito Barney's sing with the band

Be a rock star from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesdays at Bandito Barney's Sing with the Band karaoke. Be the frontman of a live band, while trying out some of the many fall flavors on tap. They include 16-ounce drafts of Ace Pumpkin Cider, Great Lakes Oktoberfest, Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest and Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Pumpkin Ale — all for $5.50 each. No cover.
