Hoffman Estates police, firefighters to play charity softball game

The Hoffman Estates Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association is hosting its annual Shootz & Ladderz Softball Game - Hoffman Estates Police vs. Fire, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 (rain date Oct. 1). The game is held at Cannon Crossings, 1675 Nicholson Drive in Hoffman Estates, near Timber Trails School.

The event also has games for children. T-Shirts, rally towels and snacks will be for sale. All proceeds go toward future needs of the Hoffman Estates police and fire departments.
