Torre gives Utley 2-run triple, removes Judge error

NEW YORK (AP) - Major League Baseball executive vice president Joe Torre has changed an official scorer's decision, giving the Los Angeles Dodgers' Chase Utley a two-run triple and taking away an error by New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge.

The second-inning drive in the Dodgers' 8-2 win Monday kicked off Judge's glove at the front of the warning track, and the Dodgers took a 4-0 lead.

As a result of the scoring change, all three runs in the inning off Bryan Mitchell are now earned rather than unearned, raising his ERA from 2.46 to 6.14.
