Flood insurance discount

Property owners in unincorporated Lake County may be eligible to save an average of about $257 a year on their flood insurance policies. Residents who meet certain requirements are eligible for up to 20 percent savings on premiums through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's rating program. Contact your flood insurance agent for individual savings information. Currently, there are more than 987 flood insurance policies in unincorporated Lake County.
