Local election packets available in Lake Zurich

Lake Zurich village officials are reminding the public that the mayor, three trustee seats on the village board and the village clerk will be on the ballot for the April 4, 2017, consolidated election. Nomination packets are available in the village clerk's office at village hall, 70 E. Main St., starting Sept. 15. The first day to circulate nominating petitions is Tuesday, Sept. 20. Petitions can be filed with the village from Dec. 12 through Dec. 19. All seats are for four-year terms. Visit http://lakezurich.org/610/Election-2017.
