St. Charles Arts Council announces artists for fifth annual Student Art Gallery Show
The St. Charles Arts Council has announced the artists whose work will be shown at the fifth annual Student Art Gallery Show.
The opening reception will be 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the gallery, 7 S. Second Ave. in St. Charles. Food and drink will be served.
The Student Art Gallery Show will be open from Saturday, March 11 through Sunday, March 25. The 2017 show features 2-D and 3-D visual art, including painting, sculpture, and photography, and video art, from 100 students.
The artists in the Student Art Gallery Show include: Varda Ahmed, Adair Allen, Erin Baker, Grayden Bates, Pamela Bernard, Lauren Rae Berry Lisa Bessler, Ben Binder, Saffron Bruno, Kylee Carlson, Nick Carrera, Sam Carrera, Adrian Regnier Chavez Cate Costello, Alexandra Davis, Meagan Deiss, Antonio Del Toro, Michael Di Iorio, Josh Dickerson Corinna Dieta, Anne Douglass, Kim Estrada, Emma Finstrom, Edie Flochmeyer, Delia Franz Molly Franz, Shea Frawley, Nicole Gerke, Alexandra Gill, Nicole Hanlon, Lauren Hansford Alexandra Harding, Elizabeth Hariran, Imaan Hasan Abby Hayes, Tommy Hofmeyer, Paige Hudon, Briana Huerta, Julie Rochelle Isaccs, and Grace Olivia Jaeger.

The arts council invites everyone to the opening reception, to see hundreds of pieces of art, and to meet our student artists, who typically attend the opening. If you can't make the reception, you are encouraged to see the gallery during the two weeks that it is in the Seventh Avenue space. The artwork is varied and accomplished - ranging widely in age and medium - but all wonderfully engaging and even inspiring.
