Souare has surgery on jaw, thigh after car crash

LONDON (AP) - Crystal Palace defender Pape Souare has undergone surgery on his jaw and thigh after being involved in a car crash.

Palace chairman Steve Parish said the Senegal international had the operation on Tuesday and should be discharged from the hospital on Friday. Parish says Souare is "expected to make a full recovery."

Souare had to be cut from his car by emergency services after the accident on Sunday.
