Grain lower, livestock lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Sept. delivery was 2.50 cents lower at $3.8040 a bushel; Sept. corn was 4.25 cents lower at $3.25 bushel; Sept. oats was 2 cents higher at $1.64 a bushel; while Sept. soybeans lost 8.25 cents to $9.7620 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .98 cent lower at $1.0473 a pound; September feeder cattle was 2.15 cents lower at $1.3278 pound; October lean hogs lost 1.65 cents to to $.5978 a pound.
