Mosque open house Sept. 24 in Libertyville

Islamic Foundation North, 1751 S. O'Plaine Road in Libertyville, will present a mosque open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. All are welcome at the event where literature, books and food will be provided. The program will include a mosque tour, short presentation, prayer observation and discussion and Q&A. Organizers are inviting participants to get answers to questions such as: What do Muslims believe and practice?; Myths about Sharia Law; What is Jihad?; and Women in Islam.
