Day of Play scheduled on Saturday

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting the Worldwide Day of Play, a free, family event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Century Park North, 1400 Indianwood Drive, Vernon Hills. Structured and unstructured activities will be available for all ages, including a baggo tournament, moonwalk, sand volleyball, basketball contests, sack races, egg toss, hula hoop contests and more.
