Catholic Charities to hold senior dining event

Local seniors are invited to join Catholic Charities Lake County Senior Dining for their Dine A-Roundup event, to be held at Maravela's in Ingleside. The afternoon will include a cowboy lunch, music, dancing and prizes.

Lunch will include barbecue beef, corn on the cob, cowboy beans, country coleslaw, cornbread, and peach cobbler a la mode.

Catholic Charities offers nutritious, hot meals and camaraderie for adults ages 60 and older and their spouses of any age at 12 different sites around Lake County. Qualified participants can dine around Lake County five to seven days a week, depending on the site.

The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22. The suggested donation to attend is $7. Maravela's Catering is at 4 Washington St., Ingleside.
