Fleeing carjacking suspect jumps to death from overpass

HILLSIDE, Ill. (AP) - A carjacking suspect fleeing police in suburban Chicago has jumped from an expressway overpass and died.
Illinois State Police spokesman Jason Bradley says troopers and local police were chasing four armed suspects who stole a vehicle at gunpoint in suburban Hillside Friday.
The stolen vehicle entered the Interstate 290 expressway and stopped on the Harlem Avenue overpass.
Bradley says the four suspects fled on foot and one of them jumped off the overpass, landing on the expressway below and suffering fatal injuries.
Two suspects were arrested and the fourth remained at large as of Friday night.
