Quarterback is lucky
Colin Kaepernick is very fortunate to live in the United States of America, which permits freedom to insult our flag for any reason. If he followed the same protest in Iran, he would have his head cut off. In China, he would rot in jail for years before trial. In Russia he would quietly disappear forever. None of those countries would provide him $114 million for throwing a football to a receiver, nor would his protest be published. How much of his income does he gift to his message, or is he just another counterfeit? Or are we gullible for any empty drama?
