Harvest Moon party supports international projects

Guests are invited to enjoy an open-air autumn evening while supporting projects for neighbors around the globe at Naperville Sunrise Rotary's annual Harvest Moon party.

This year's party features a Guatemalan theme in honor of the clean water and housing projects the club is supporting there. Previous projects have included clean water and electricity in Haiti, and education and clean water projects in Zambia.

The Harvest Moon party is from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster St., Naperville. Guests can enjoy food, craft beer, wine and soft drinks, a silent auction, and music and dancing by the rock 'n' roll and blues band Lost Karma, all under the bright harvest moon.

A limited number of advance tickets are available for $40 per person at harvestmoonparty.com. If any tickets remain, they will be available for $50 at the door.
