Boys golf: Tenuta, Busch pace a Prospect win

Prospect's Nick Tenuta (38) and Charlie Busch (39) led the way as the Knights fired 162 on the par-35 Mt. Prospect Golf Course layout Wednesday.

Prospect came in at 162, while Hoffman Estates' number was 187.

Nate Dunker (42) and Brad Woodle (43) also counted scores for the Knights.

Conor Windels had Hoffman Estates' low round, a 41.

• Jason Dean shot 40 and Josh Glassman 42 to help Hersey (169) earn a victory against Elk Grove (192).

Joe Leone (43) was low man for the Grenadiers.

• Max Rothweiler had the low score for Maine West with a 40, but the Warriors dropped their contest against Vernon Hills 148-173.

• Matthew Weltzien (39) and Max Myszka (40) led the way as Palatine shot shot 164 to edge Schaumburg (167). Nick Tudor came in at 38 to win medalist honors for the Saxons.
