Lake County retired teachers to meet Sept. 13

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association will meet at noon Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Lambs Farm restaurant at Route 176 and I-94 near Libertyville. The cost is $16 per person for the luncheon buffet and meeting. Pre-luncheon get-together begins at 11:30 a.m. Sitting state senators and new candidates will attend the event for a question-and-answer period. Those invited are: senators Terry Link, Pamela Althoff, Julie Morrison, Melinda Bush, and Daniel McConchie, and candidates Benjamin Salzberg, Michael Amrozowicz, Melissa Coyne, and Kelly Mazeski. All retired educators are welcome to attend and no reservations are necessary.
