Kane County Cougars announce 2017 schedule
The Kane County Cougars will open the 2017 season at home against the Clinton LumberKings on April 6, team officials announced Friday.
The Cougars also will host 26 postgame fireworks shows next season. Other promotions for 2017 will be announced later.

The Cougars conclude their 2016 season this weekend with a 3-day homestand Saturday through Monday against the Peoria Chiefs.
