Daddy Daughter Luau at Lake Forest Beach September 10

Lake Forest Parks & Recreation will host its first annual Daddy Daughter Luau at Forest Park Beach, North Pavilion on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m.

The North Pavilion at Forest Park Beach will be transformed into an island paradise on this special evening for young ladies ages 5-11 and their dads, grandpas, uncles or special escorts. Sway to the islands sounds with music, hula lessons, Hawaiian snacks and light refreshments. Island-themed prizes will be awarded for a variety of games and contests. All guests will take home a complimentary lei.

Joe Mobile, Superintendent of the Lake Forest Parks & Recreation says, "I'm really excited about our first annual Daddy / Daughter Luau. At Forest Park Beach we have the perfect setting for this event and I'm sure it will become something special for daughters and dads to look forward to every summer. "

Attendees should dress in their finest Hawaiian shirts and grass skirts. This event is open to Lake Forest Residents and their daughters. Cost is $50 per Daddy/Daughter couple (additional daughters $15 each). Register online at LFRec.com or in person at Lake Forest Parks & Recreation, 400 Hastings Road, Lake Forest, Illinois.
