LA Lakers add G Julian Jacobs, F Travis Wear to roster
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) - The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Julian Jacobs and forward Travis Wear.
The Lakers announced the deals for two local college products Thursday.
Los Angeles has 18 players on its roster heading into training camp this month.
Jacobs averaged 11.6 points, 5.4 assists and 4.9 rebounds in three seasons at Southern California before entering the NBA draft this year. He led the Pac-12 in assists last season.
Wear is a Long Beach native who spent three seasons at UCLA before getting into 51 games with the New York Knicks during the 2014-15 season. He spent last year with San Sebastian in Spain's top professional league.
