St. James Parish Hosts Pathways and Rhythms Women's Retreat

St. James Parish in Arlington Heights is hosting the Pathways and Rhythms Women's Retreat on October 15.

The purpose of the retreat is to help women discover the path that works best for them when trying to connect with God.

In the morning session, Life Purpose Coach Liz Lassa will teach the nine spiritual temperaments featured in the book Sacred Pathways. In one or more of these temperaments, participants will see themselves and the ways they most naturally express their relationship with God. Then, participants will create a custom spiritual growth plan using this new information.

After a break for lunch, participants will take what they learned from the morning session a step further as Artist Tamara Peterson teaches Spiritual Art Journaling. Participants will create an art canvas that captures their unique pathways to God. "In the end, you will leave with your very own, 'one-of-a-kind' canvas to remind you of your special way of connecting to God," Peterson said.
