Trinity Luthern Church organist presents recital

Brad Whaley, cantor and organist for Trinity Lutheran Church in Des Plaines, is presenting an organ recital at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at Madonna della Strada Chapel, on the campus of Loyola University Chicago, 1032 W. Sheridan Road, in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

The event is free to attend and will feature seldom heard works by Gerald Near, Healey Willan, Jan Bender and Jean Langlais. Whaley will be playing the Goulding and Wood, Opus 47 Katheryn Stamm Memorial Organ.

Free parking is in the main structure on campus. Enter at Kenmore Avenue and Sheridan Road.
