Pence expected to speak at opening of Trump Indiana office
CARMEL, Ind. (AP) - Republican vice presidential nominee Mike Pence is scheduled to speak during opening events for Donald Trump's Indiana campaign office.
Trump's state campaign says the Indiana governor and his wife, Karen, are expected to attend the Friday event in the northern Indianapolis suburb of Carmel. The campaign says Pence will speak about 5 p.m.
It would be Pence's first public Trump campaign event in Indiana since his pick as Trump's running mate was ratified by the Republican National Convention on July 19.
The Trump campaign says yard signs and bumper stickers will be available for supporters at the office, where volunteers can sign up to make phone calls and door-to-door campaign stops.
