State Police investigate double murder in southern Indiana
SALEM, Ind. (AP) - State Police are investigating as a double murder the deaths of a man and a woman found unresponsive in a southern Indiana home.
The two victims were found unresponsive Saturday afternoon at a home in Salem and were later pronounced dead at a hospital.
State Police identified them as 37-year-old Valerie E. Dicus, and 36-year-old Joseph R. Hobson, who had been living at the home with Dicus.
Police were summoned to the home about 30 miles northwest of Louisville, Kentucky, by a 911 caller.
Police released no additional details on the deaths, but investigators believe foul play is involved.
Autopsies were scheduled to be performed on both victims at the Kentucky Medical Examiner's Office in Louisville.
