Evansville man sentenced to prison for drunken driving death

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A 39-year-old Evansville man who pleaded guilty to causing a death while drunken driving has been sentenced to 14 1/2 years in prison.

Vanderburgh Circuit Judge David Kiely on Monday sentenced Michael Gann in the death of 15-year-old Logan Brown in March 2015. Gann pleaded guilty in April to causing death while operating a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol content equal to or greater than 0.15 percent; as well as two counts of operating a motor vehicle causing serious bodily injury with a blood-alcohol content equal to or greater than 0.08 percent.

Both sides agreed that he had a blood alcohol level of 0.27 percent.
