Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept. delivery was 5 cents lower at $4.1660 a bushel; Sept. corn was 1.50 cents lower at $3.21 bushel; Sept. oats was 1.50 cents lower at $1.7040 a bushel; while August soybeans gained 5.50 cents to $10.2260 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle was .63 cent lower at $1.1623 a pound; August feeder cattle was down .83 cent at $1.4890 pound; August lean hogs was up .08 cent to $.6720 a pound.
