Cookout for Mundelein freshmen

Mundelein High School freshmen and their families are invited to a free cookout before the first home football game of the season, Friday, Sept. 2. The event, run by the Mundelein Ambassadors parent group, will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the parking lot west of the school at 1350 W. Hawley St., Mundelein. Hot dogs, chips and water are on the menu.
