Winnetka's Conor Dwyer wins bronze in 200m free

Winnetka's Conor Dwyer captured the bronze medal in the 200-meter freestyle Monday at the Rio Olympics.

Dwyer, a Loyola Academy graduate, finished in 1:45:23, behind China's Sun Yang (1:44.65) and South Africa's Chad Le Clos (1:45.20).

"I put in so much hard work. I'm glad to finally see it pay off here on the biggest stage," Dwyer told the Chicago Tribune.
