Dano's Eagle Scout project took place Sept. 26 and 27, 2015, at Pleasant Hill School, 434 W. Dano graduated from William Fremd High School in June. In addition to his Scouting activities, he was involved in the Fremd Chambers Singers his senior year, Fremd Speech Team his freshman and sophomore years, and the 2015 Fremd Foreign Exchange Club trip to Spain.

He was also a member of the Viking Theater Program all four of his years at Fremd. As part of the theater program, Dano most recently portrayed Uncle Max in "The Sound of Music" and Egeus in William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream.

In the fall, Dano will head to Bloomington, where he will attend Illinois Wesleyan University and double major in secondary education and history.
