Deerfield Parkway to close in Buffalo Grove

Deerfield Parkway from Weiland Road to Busch Parkway in Buffalo Grove will close for six days at the Canadian National Railway crossing for repairs beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12. The road closure, which will last until late afternoon Thursday, Aug. 18, is necessary to repair the existing railroad crossing. Local traffic will be allowed from Weiland Road east to the crossing and from Route 21 west to the crossing. The detour is Weiland Road to Aptakisic Road, to Route 21.
