Hampshire festival continues Sunday with parade, free sweet corn

The 34th annual Hampshire Coon Creek Country Days partied on Saturday, the third day of the four-day festival, which features a new stage ensemble, sound system, LED lighting and landscaping upgrades at Bruce Ream Park, 368 Terwilliger Ave.

Hampshire Coon Creek Country Days is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that hosts the festival to raise funds for other nonprofit organizations and community organizations in need, such as the Hampshire Food Pantry.

Depending on weather, anywhere between 5,000 and 10,000 people attend the festival for the live music, carnival rides and games, the beer garden and fireworks,

Hours Sunday are 1 to 5 p.m. After the parade, people can enjoy as much fresh sweet corn as they want for free. Admission is free. For details, visit hcccd.com.
