Work on Arlington Heights' North parking garage done

After being closed for several month for maintenance work, the North garage in downtown Arlington Heights has reopened.

Officials said on Friday that the work at the village-owned parking garage at the corner of Miner Street and Arlington Heights Road was completed for the year. This project was part of a multiyear effort to rehabilitate the village's parking garages to eliminate deficiencies in the structures. Summer of 2017 will bring the next phase of the project, which will be to do work at the Vail Street street garage.
