Bandits top USSSA Pride 3-0

The Bandits returned to The Ballpark at Rosemont for their final home series of the 2016 season, beating the league-leading USSSA Pride.

Lacey Waldrop (W, 5-3), Morgan Foley and Michelle Gascoigne (SV, 5) combined for the shutout in the circle.

Brittany Cervantes (1-for-4, RBI) drilled an RBI-single off the left field fence to open up scoring in the third inning.

Taylor Edwards (2-for-2, 2 RBI, 2 BB) smacked her team-leading 18th and 19th two-out RBI with a two-RBI single in the fourth, extending the Bandits' lead to 3-0.

The series continues in Rosemont tonight at 7:05 p.m.
