Sale of Joy of The Game

Dear Joy of the Game Families, Players, Friends, Coaches, and Partners,

Approximately five years ago, we acquired Joy of The Game based on our love for kids/young adults, community, and the game of basketball. Our objectives were simple: (1) create programming for kids and adults at all skill levels regardless of race, religion, gender, or ability; (2) use the game and our programming as a tool to build essential life skills; (3) provide strong fundamental training for those who wanted to improve their basketball skills; (4) bring "joy" back to the game. We take a lot of pride in knowing that we have accomplished these objectives and could not be more proud of the coaches and staff that helped us achieve this.

As we tell our student-athletes, life is about continually making decisions, sometimes very difficult ones. We have made one of these decisions, the sale of our business Joy of The Game to North Shore Sports and Wellness, but believe it is the right one for management, our partner employees, and our loyal families. We again thank all of the numerous individuals who worked tirelessly over the years to help us achieve our aforementioned objectives. Most importantly, thank you to our families for entrusting us with your most precious asset - your children. We took that responsibility extremely seriously and hope that you were able to take away something positive in return.

Going forward, please direct your inquiries to North Shore Sports and Wellness at http://northshoresportsandwellness.com/index.html or 847-498-6646. We will always be appreciative and grateful for your business, trust, loyalty, and support. We wish all of our families, players, coaches, referees, and everyone associated with Joy of The Game, health, happiness, and success for many years to come. We look forward to seeing you in the community and always remember to EnJoy The Game!!!

Sincerely,

The Joy of the Game Team
