Community Character Coalition Supports Collection for Homeless Female Vets
The Community Character Coalition of Elk Grove (CCC) will be collecting items for homeless female veterans from Sept. 6-9, 2016. The items will be delivered in time for the Sept. 24, 2016, Stand Down where 150 female homeless veterans will be in attendance. Items needed are:
Nylons (for job interviews)
Athletic socks
Toiletry items (hand sanitizer, body lotion, deodorant, tooth paste, brushes, female hygiene products)
Winter items (hats, scarves and gloves)
Please bring donations to the next CCC general meeting on Sept. 6, at the Hattendorf Center in Elk Grove Village, beginning at 7:30 a.m. or drop off donations from Sept. 6-9 at 100 Essex Road, Elk Grove Village between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
