New Genesee shows include Rick Springfield, 'Cinderella'

Pop icon of the '80s Rick Springfield will appear in concert with Loverboy on Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Genesee Theatre in Waukegan.

Tickets start at $42 for the show, which will feature songs like Springfield's "Jessie's Girl" and "Affair of the Heart" and Loverboy's "Working for the Weekend."

Also at the Genesee, the State Ballet Theatre of Russia's "Cinderella" is scheduled for a performance on Friday, Jan. 20. The full-scale production is set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev. Tickets start at $29.50.
